Arrived on site to perform the leak test, pressurized with 400 psi of nitrogen and found that the outlet fitting of the expansion valve onto the coil was leaking. Tightened up and confirmed that there was no more signs of bubbles and allowed the system to hold pressure and confirm that it is no longer leaking. Evacuated the system and charged up with R410A.

Arrived onsite for issues with heating system heat pump; possible low refrigerant. Performed diagnostic and found the system heating at a 20 degree temperature rise with supple temp around 82. Measured r22 Refriferant pressures at 51/170. Measured ac temperature drop at 20 degrees 65/45. Recharged system with up to 1lb of r22. Increased r22 pressure to 65/200. Increased supply heat to 95 degrees. System seems to have a restriction possibly in the reversing valve. New system has been ordered and we’re are waiting on the manufacturer.

Arrived onsite for no heat service call. Customer explained the circuit breaker keeps tripping. Recommend replacing control board as it mostly was affected by the power influx. Note that proper diagnostic will need to be completed once the control board is repair. Other parts still may be affected. Wil contact manufacturer for part availability.

Removed old heat exchanger. Found cracks and old heat exchanger. Making flames roll out. Installed new heat exchanger on train rooftop. Installed new pressure switch, roll out switch and pressure switch tubing.

Arrived onsite for issues with heating system with new thermostat. Performed diagnostic using temperature probes to measure the heat of the room. Found the thermostat set to 68 degrees. Found the thermostat reading room temperature at 70 degrees. Measured temperature nest thermostats at 68.9 degrees. Measured bedroom temperature at 67.7 degrees. The thermostat is also receiving direct sunlight which may be causing the read temperature reading to be higher than it is. Turned up the thermostat to 72 degrees. Measured the ambient room temperature on the probes at 71 degrees. Also measured the thermostat room temperature at 71 degrees. Recommend setting thermostat to 70 degrees and perhaps lowering the living room blinds during the day.

Arrived onsite for no heat call. Started united and notice it would not try to ignite. Observed LED flash code for high limit and pressure switch. Cleared pressure switch tubing. Reset flame rollout switches. System would not start. Bypassed the safeties sensors and system started observed the flame dancing and yellow instead of blue. Flame has significant rollout indicating bad heat exchanger. Observed significant rust in the unit. Customer would like repair and replacement pricing.

Installed updated thermostat for homeowner.

Arrived onsite for issue with heating system. Homeowner has water cooled heat pump system R22. Performed diagnostic. Measured air temperature at 70/85 degrees with heat rise at 15 degrees. Measured R22 pressure at 42/168psi. Measured superheat at 42 and sub cooling at 30. System is low on refrigerant and had a refrigerant restriction and possibly a bad metering device. Recommend replacement due to age and equipment. Homeowner agreed to the replacement. Supplier provided 10 week turnaround time for new equipment. Added r22 refrigerant in an effort to hold over the customer until new equipment can be installed. System was about 30% low and is not heating at 72/101 degrees.

Arrived onsite for heating maintenance. Homeowner mentioned the system seems to be running too frequently. Upon the arrival found the system off and not receiving a call for heat as it should. Received call for heat from thermostat and system started as it should and turned off as it should. System ran once in 45 minutes time frame. Performed inspection of the mechanical, safety, and performance system. System running as it should. Discussed findings with homeowner; he has elected to change older thermostat. Will provide an estimate.

Repaired the ductless system by replacing a section of 1/4 inch pipe on the roof, brazed in the new section, and pressure tested the system to 350 psi. Evacuated the unit below 500 microns and charged it with 4 lbs 11 oz of R410A refrigerant. Started the unit and confirmed all heads were cooling and operational.
