Arrived at no heating call upon diagnosis I found that the customer had a thermostat installed which was wired incorrectly so I rewired the thermostat tested the unit everything is operational at this time.

We will diagnose the system to determine what type of additional work or repairs is necessary to restore the system back to proper working conditions.

Basement Furnace System: Turn heat on and confirmed operation. Changed 18x18x1 filter provided by customer. Brushed and Wiped down furnance blower cabinet and gas burners. Burners fired and are in good working order. No visual impingement detected. Checked electrical. Cleaned the flame sensor. Measure temperature rise at 45 degrees; within manufacturers specification. Observed grime in blower wheel; mist likely from proximity to the kitchen. Homeowner elected not to address this at this time. Recommend replacing fan blower wheel; maybe if the fan motor requires replacement down the road. System is operating as it should.

Perform the maintenance for one oil fired hot water boiler, replaced the nozzle, oil filter, and pump screen. Opened up the top of the boiler and inspected the heat exchanger, brushed and vacuumed out the heat exchanger and started up the burner. Confirmed that the burner is igniting and running properly, performed a combustion test on the burner and confirm that all the readings are in perfect order. The boiler is running properly at this time. 1.00 80° A nozzle, number 88 oil filter, 109 pump screen

Installed 80% 80,000 BTU natural gas hot air furnace. How to remove old coil pump down condenser reinstalled new furnace reinstalled hold coil redid drain lines rehooked up line set for in pressure test and pull the evacuation. Open valves up and charge system. Rehooked up gas lines. Put new gas cock on gas line. Restarted water heater. Tested furnace rehooked up flu pipe and adapted old ductwork to Old coil. Everything is operational at this time.

Arrived on site for the installation of a Coleman condenser and air handler. Upon arrival, spoke with the customer and explained the scope of work for the day. Drop cloths were placed around the designated work area to maintain cleanliness and protect the home.

Arrived onsite for ac maintenance on 1 system. Asked customer to turn AC on to confirm operation. Checked all electrical. Chemically Cleaned outside could, measured pressures for R22 at 59/135psi with 6 degree sub cooling with outside temperature at 65 degrees. Measured temperature drop at 15 degrees. Cleaned evaporator coil and condensate line. Performed efficiency test utilizing MeasureQuick. System running but not well; received a grade of “D” Homeowner will look into upgrading system next year

Arrived at no cooling call upon investigation I found that the units filter was completely clogged I removed the units filter (18x18x1) confirmed airflow and discovered that the return is massively undersized for what the unit calls for. I also found that the units outdoor unit was clogged and dirty causing the unit to not breathe and is located underneath the stairs which is causing the unit to have bounce back raising its pressures and straining the unit.

Greater customer upon arrival customer led me to the attic where the air handler is and also the thermostat to turn on the unit on cooling to see if the condenser run which it did went to the condenser popped off the top clean from the inside with water and chemical check voltage and amps. Everything was fine. I was not given a filter nor did the customer have one so filter was not changed. Checked pressure with field pieces and also temperature difference with temperature probes. Found a unit in the Attic open with two missing screws, put in to self tappers and close that shut. Customer was aware of every information everything was fine also checked out the supposedly missing insulation no insulation was missing.

Arrived onsite for platinum air movement renovation and install WiFi thermostat. Began by removing blower motor and fan. Everything is covered in dirt and dust from lack of filter. Wiped down the empty blower cabinet. Chemically cleaned the blower cabinet. Disassembled blower motor and fan wheel. Chemically cleaned the blower wheel and washed with hose water. Went blade by blade to remove stick on dirt. Wiped the blower motor. Used compressed air to clear the blower motor of dust and dirt particles. Wiped all electrical wires of dirt. Allowed blower fan wheel to completely dry. Reassembled the cleaned air movement components. Confirmed proper alignment and wiring. Installed 16x24x1 filter.

Arrived onsite for review of the thermostat to add WiFi thermostat and possibly adding an additional wire. Pull the thermostat off the wall and inspected the current wiring. Found 4 wires being used and 6 wires in the packet. This provides two wires to be used to power wifi thermostat. Called customer to confirm there aren’t any known issues with the two unused wires. Will provide estimate for renovation, thermostat installation, and duct cleaning.

Perform the service for the oil boiler, replaced the nozzle, filter, and pump screen. Open and brushed the heat exchanger and vacuumed out. Started up the burner and performed a full combustion test, the burner is operating properly at this time. I did find two issues that need to be addressed, the combustion chamber inside the boiler is falling apart and needs to be replaced. This will expose more of the heat exchanger to direct heat which could cause premature failure and also because of the debris will cause the flame pattern to be distorted and create other issues as far as proper burn is concerned. Also found that the zone valve for the kitchen/ family room / laundry room area is opening however the end switch is not closing properly and is not cycling the boiler on. The zone valve head will need to be replaced.
